MECCA PHILOSOPHY
To provide high quality, developmentally appropriate child care for all families in the community in a safe, warm, caring and educational enviornment. We focus on the individual child's age and ability to stimulate their social, cognitive, physical and emotional growth. Our program is carefully designed to nurture your child's imagination and encourage lifelong positive values. Marlborough Elementary Child Care Association is a non-profit organization which values people: The children in our care, our families, and our employees. We are committed to work to earn the trust placed in us.
Preschool
Our Preschool Program follows the Connecticut State Standards and begins to get children ready for Kindergarten. This includes working on each child's confidence and social interactions. We take the time to get to know your child and help them to grow as an indivdual.
Before School
Our Before School Program is a place to go in the morning where the children can do a number of crafts, games and outdoor play (weather permitting)
After School
In our After School Program, we provide a snack each day as the children come down from MES or from our Preschool classroom.
We are able to pick up or drop off children from activities happening in the school during the MECCA hours of operation.
Monday through Thursday we offer a homework room where staff members are able to assist when questions arise.
We also offer a group game and a craft each day to keep children safe and entertained.
We go outside daily, unless the weather is deemed too poorly.
Summer Camp
We are open Monday through Friday 6:45 am to 6:00 pm
Field trips, lake days, on site special guests, theme days, pizza and grinder lunches, and staff members who are dedicated to making each summer, the summer of each camper's lives.
